It seems to function very similarly (you even accept to “slide to unlock” the screen), and just seems so cool! I can’t wait until Apple posts the presentation on their site later on, so I can watch the accomplished thing in high quality as I drool over my new coveted gadget. So far from what I can tell fromGizmodo’s live blog coverage of the event, is that it’s somewhat like a gigantic iPhone, but a little squarer.
Not bad, not bad at all! Of course, I’d probably be more inclined to go with a 64 GB priced at $699 USD for the Wi-Fi enabled model, or $829 USD for the one with both Wi-Fi and 3G. The basic 16 GB, Wi-Fi enabled model goes for $499 USD. According to the Apple website, Wi-Fi enabled iPads alpha aircraft in March, with 3G-enabled models aircraft in April.
