I'm surprised that the Ministry of Justice in a Democratic administration would break its monopoly. I'm suspicious of electronic voting in general (so easy to cheat the system) and a company that controls all just makes things worse. No company should always have that power again (especially one that preserves the secret source whose leaders are actively supporting candidates in elections to decide its position.) SST (formerly Diebold) was and is known to be conservative ( with its CEO Walden O'Dell be an active fundraiser for Bush and votes notoriously promise at one point).
