As Ryan Singel stated succinctly in an editorial, Facebook built their businesses with the promise of privacy, and once attracted a sufficient number of users who have broken under the protection of its users. The only thing I get out of this time, I built a portfolio of all my friends and family. Every day I read about this hack has some good ideas to make your business profitable by selling information about me, I want to leave Facebook. .

. Absolutely. Share what you want with whoever you want. What is an alternative that is open at 100% and 100% encrypted. Maybe in a distributed network as a file share network, with lots of data distributed throughout the world, but not centrally. Maybe your life data in a directory and have full access to read and write in.
