Speaking to reporters after his speech at a conference in London in Google Big Tent, Schmidt said that attempts by the search giant challenge to restrict online access to The Pirate Bay and other so-telling "cyberlocker" sites that promote illegal downloading of part of the government's plans to combat online piracy through controversial measures in the Act of the Digital Economy

"It would be very, very careful if an arbitrary rule [request] simple solutions to complex problems," he said. Therefore, "let's blow DNS." Well, this seems an interesting solution, but it creates a very bad precedent, because now another country to say 'I do not like freedom of speech and I will blow off all DNSs' this country China.

What is the value of freedom of expression when there is no accountability and shame on the screen? Perhaps we have / have lost the right and the need for freedom of expression? We learned of the illegality / duplication iraq.is has protested against the invasion of much of Bush and Blair in The Hague? we saw what the bankers did.are punished? We know that the "war on drugs" is called for?.

milk in the oven, do not make a significant difference at all in the amount of money is spent on music. Maybe some people will buy a little more often, but if you go to The Pirate Bay and torrenting in the first place, they know how to get free stuff. Stop The Pirate Bay to guide those who enjoy downloading music, movies, anything, other sites. That's it.

Connected devices such as home computer media, dishwashers, cars, lights and possibly soon to be controlled with the new platform. In the I annual developer conference in San Francisco or a fragment Tuesday @ Home Android, a platform for the future that will allow you to interact with virtually any electronic device that is to use Google (Fortune 500).

Recently, some first attempts have emerged, including bottles of pills with a link to your mobile phone or cars that can be activated through a mobile application. Control devices with a smart phone, Tablet PC or other device has been debated for years. But these prototypes – little has been done on a larger scale.

Currently, many manufacturers of devices connected to write their own software to control devices. The main obstacle to making that happen on all devices is to find a single open standard for all their control. Your iPhone can control your Apple TV, telephone and allows you to control your Windows PC with Windows, for example.

Lighting Science is the creation of lighting using wireless transponders that communicate with a wireless hub. LED lighting manufacturer lined up as the first partner Science Android @ Home and has an important role in opening Google E / S on Tuesday. This platform will be able to communicate with devices using Google's new platform.

The robot runs on Android tablets and paced the conference, Google has installed a giant maze controlled by a board of Android. Google has decided to have fun "with the new Android technology. The company has also partnered with Hasbro to produce a prototype of a toy robot that guides you to your smartphone and pray to interact with it.

The lithium ion battery art, which some believe is why the rapid evolution of consumer electronics is modern industry based on an architecture lamentable: the anode and cathode, the act of battery cages that can contain lithium.

To further increase the power of lithium, we return to our hypothetical chemical battery sleep (which I spoke two weeks ago) by removing the cages. These cages to gain weight and volume. And the voltage of the Li-ion battery is also much lower than that of a more ideal battery.

The book does not include the millions of batteries that can be done, but have no real value. Each person entering the field of batteries begin by reviewing the "Handbook of batteries." The Bible has all kinds of batteries that are either commercially available or nearby.

The answer is quite technical, but I think it's fair to say that so far the battery, it can probably be best seen low battery (if applicable). It is a low power system has a life cycle very, very poor, energy is not large, and some researchers wonder is security.

The remaining energy is lost for several things, such as current collectors for battery separators, and electrolytes. The things that have no office, but they are required to make a battery. Part of it is lost because the tops of the stability of blood electrolyte and cathode capacity.

The document showed that lithium could be accommodated in this structure with a tension that has become a decent cathode. However, the rate of lithium could enter and leave the material was not so great. In 1996 he presented a paper at the meeting of the Electrochemical Society, which brought the world's iron phosphate and lithium. If you tried to use under normal conditions (for example, the load on 2-3 hours), the battery has not been particularly useful.

In early 2002, a document that showed what appeared to be the highest power of a lithium battery to upgrade to lithium iron phosphate. This work has changed everything I knew or thought about this material and has undertaken a major effort in the scientific community to understand how an insulator can be transformed into a battery at high speed.

For the Li-air system, not only we need innovation, we must also consider how we can make a battery of high speed and low cost, without too much additional weight and volume in the other components. Many of the processes we use today will be renovated and new must be integrated.

Wider adoption of 3G voice calls for Skype could hint at a future Skype phone. The free software, found in Google’s Android Market, includes mobile calls on the Skype network, instant message text chat, call forwarding, voicemail, and low-rate calls to mobile numbers and landlines. An updated Skype client for Google Android devices is available beginning Wednesday, with two notable improvements: a security patch and support for voice calls over 3G networks around the world, including the U.S.

Using software, this exposed data could becapturedand sent elsewhere, without the handset owner’sknowledge. Essentially, a third-party application could exploit the fact that both Skype profile information and instant messages were cached locally and unprotected on a handset. The newest client patches a security hole that was found last weekandacknowledgedby the Skype team. With today’s update, the data is now protected and can’t be exploited by a third-party application.

Closing the security gap is important, but so too is support for calls over mobile broadband networks in the U.S. Hacks and workarounds could be used to enable 3G Skype calls on other carrier networks, but those are no longer needed due to the most recent software update. Last year, Skype partnered exclusively with Verizon Wireless as the only carrier to allow 3G Skype calls, thus limiting Skype usage on other networks here.

The device can do everything my smartphone does: run the same apps, use location-based services with GPS, surf the web and more. Adding support for Skype callscould be the final puzzle piece in my mobile communications plan. The functionality is there in terms of hardware, but it’s blocked by Samsung, likely at the request of the U.S carriers. But the one key item it can’t do, and the main reason I still take a smartphone along with me, is easily handle voice calls. I often carry the Samsung Galaxy Tab, a 7-inch Android tablet, with me everywhere. In some other countries, Galaxy Tab owners can and do use the tablet for cellular voice calls.

With the latest Skype update and support for 3G calling, however, I may be able to get away with onlycarrying my tablet. Does this set up the potential for a potential Skype-branded handset in the future? If the company can work another carrier deal — this time a data-only plan with no voice requirement — Skype could potentially power mobile conversations over Wi-Fi, 3G, 4G and beyond. I’ve successfully tested Google Voice forwarding to my SkypeIn number, so with a single phone number, voice calls could be routed to my tablet while on a 3G network.

The call sounded like any other voice call on a cellular network, but used only the data portion of T-Mobile’s network. Using Skype’s newest software, my smartphone just might have gained a 7-inch display, although I’ll have to test this solution over a longer term. I’ve already tested the new update on my Tab and had a voice call over T-Mobile’s 3G network with my son this morning.

Darren, I suspect you’re right: having Skype run all the time would likely hit the battery hard. When it is running, I’m reachable, of course. But for my use case (which I readily admit isn’t everyone else’s), I don’t need Skype running all the time. My wife and I both work from home, so I know she’s not calling me and pretty much anyone else calling wouldn’t be an urgent call. But by using Google Voice as my primary number, I can leave Skype off and get notifications when someone has called me and then return the call if needed. Again, not an ideal situation and not how mainstream consumers act; I simply mention it as a potential solution to the constant battery drain until that push solution you mention (an idea I love BTW!) arrives.

Isn’t Skype integration, like you seem to mention, a strong point of the Nokia N900 (and hopefully their future MeeGo related device)? I don’t know how much a constant 3G on connection will eat up in terms of data per minute or how much a video chat enabled 3G connection eats but the low data ceilings could prove to make it prohibitive. I know that once cellular voice is added to a device it requires a lot more testing from the FCC but I wish they included cellular voice in all Tablets.

Sorry I couldn’t be more helpful. There’s no reason I can think of. version of Skype for Android was limited to Verizon, but that’s no longer the case. I know that the earlier U.S. Your best bet is to download and try – I would do that for you if I had an Android device on Verizon’s network, but I don’t at the moment.

Twitter tweets sell promoted "that appear when users search Twitter and let these ads appear on TweetDeck under a revenue sharing agreement. The company only recently started to reach for advertisers and revenue is on track to win $ 150 million this year, according to eMarketer, a research company. The company has 15 employees, mostly in the UK, has a close relationship with Twitter. Five years is now over 200 users of Twitter to send messages 140 characters or less.

In fact, Forrester Research’s Sucharita Mulpuru says in a report released Thursday that when it comes to e-commerce and driving substantial amounts of business-to-consumer revenue, Facebook may already be as big a player as it’s ever going to get. A big part of what Facebook sees as its future — and a big justification for the $75-billion market value the company is theoretically being given — is the idea that the giant social network will become an e-commerce powerhouse, producing billions in revenue from retailers and major brands. But is that realistic? One analyst says no.

In a nutshell, the analyst says:. According to Mulpuru, who surveyed dozens of retailers large and small about their use (and/or their lack of use) of Facebook as a retail sales channel, “while pockets of opportunity for Facebook do exist, the likelihood that Facebook will ever be ‘the next Google,’ thereby becoming a key sales-driving tool for retailers and creating a reliable revenue stream for Facebook, is unfortunately far-fetched.” Why? The Forrester analyst says that Facebook-based stores are largely ineffective, especially for larger retailers, and that click-through rates are also anemic.

eBusiness professionals in retail collectively report little direct or indirect benefit from Facebook, and social networks overall trail far behind other customer acquisition and retention tactics like paid search and email in generating a return on investment. In spite of the fact that hundreds of millions of people around the world have Facebook accounts, the ability of the social network to drive revenue for eCommerce businesses continues to remain elusive.

It could be that Facebook as an e-commerce platform is such a new thing that the industry has yet to grasp how effective it can be. And if it’s the latter, then some of those $75-billion theoretical dollars the company is worth will have to go away. But if Mulpuru is right in her analysis, one of two things will have to happen: either advertisers and major corporations have to change the way they are using Facebook — and see some kind of return on the experiments they have so far been conducting — or the dreams that Facebook will become a major player in business-to-consumer retail will have to be revised.

Facebook is primed to explode in driving e-commerce. They haven’t released any products that speak directly to driving sales yet? Wait, until they do… then do a report. LOL. This will look dumb 1-2 years from now. This guy is going to have a rude awakening soon.

The very premise of Facebook is to keep people on their site so I just dont see anyway they would avoid an opportunity like enabling brands to setup successful commerce pages that do just that. Its also mobile and for commerce companies that are still trying to figure out the best way to reach mobile shoppers, using social media sites as a gateway may be the answer. Have you heard about Fcommerce? There is Ecommerce and Mcommerce and the latest trend is Fcommerce or Facebook Commerce spelt out. What about the Facebook mall and the facts surrounding the success of brands that transact with fans and their networks on the site? The impact of a ‘like’ is not disputed (http://www.zmags.com/blog/facebook-like-ecommerce ) so I would take a guess that Facebook will try to find a way to connect the action and visibility of ‘liking’ a product to getting the network to complete a transaction as well.

i think this is a view that is very constrained by the realities of what facebook is today and not what it can be. So why can’t they evolve to the point that it can be seen as a replacement of a brand’s website and by extension ecommerce platform? There are of course the privacy issues that it needs to address before any corporation can trust it, but they too can be overcome if FB is ever serious about this. its current version has all the key components of a corp website (ecommerce, advertising, information and profile on the brand, obviously social components, sharing, customer feedback, content of all kinds, etc.). i wouldn’t be surprised if someone told me that facebook currently has in its labs a version designed as a replacement for brand websites.

If FB and the brands aren’t there yet mentally, the market trends will drive them there. To list a few:>>Facebook users are far more inclined to interact with the brand on FB (“like”) than its website (Coca-Cola, 20.5 million likes to 270,000 site visitors; similar trend for Starbucks adn other large brands).>>A generation that is increasing and exclusively making its web destination FB.

The key value of Facebook is not having e-com retailers setup a storefront within Facebook, which as other comments note is more about socializing and entertainment, but rather that _when_ shopping anywhere having your most intimate friends (another challenge for facebook: intimacy) and their opinions are available. (Maybe Chat, SMSs or emails are the back channel.). Consumers sharing data about shopping is only one step in a larger conversation, and brands won’t be the ones initiating it, but rather listening and promoting it. I think the platform play still stands… but it isn’t clear yet how exactly this will look like. The fact that the Facebook platform can provide some support to socializing online shopping in the same way that teens (or other groups) socialize at the mall today is where the opportunity is in my opinion.

Salesforce is already a major player in the customer relationship management (CRM) field. customer relationship management software Salesforce has announced the acquisition of Radian6 social media aggregator. Added as a result Radian6 social media tools to monitor their own performance and sound is sure to make even more vital for companies to bricks and mortar as well as software for e-commerce clothing.

Salesforce functionality Radian6 monitor and report on the activities of social media to clients around the web: Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube and uniform. Radian6 also brings big names to the table, including Dell, Kodak, Pepsi, and UPS. SalesForce existing platform play is called Chatter. Fort Radian6, Salesforce will use cutting-edge information that can be combined to determine how customers think about brands as a partner.

YouTube is probably the most underutilized tool of social media, but what customers say about this can give vendors, service providers a good look at the hearts and minds of its demographic targets. Virtually all of an online store has a blog that goes with (some platforms, e-commerce software also has a built-in). Entrepreneurs and support their businesses with Twitter and Facebook messages, if necessary, and develop their professional networks LinkedIn. Monitor and try to influence positively the presence of social media is not new to advanced users of e-commerce software. The fact that large companies buy smaller ones to improve their capabilities in this field talks about this subject.

Somehow this SalesForce reduced earnings per share of 11 cents. First, the agreement, all wrapped up in July. Salesforce reports that the acquisition will boost earnings in 2012 to 45 million, putting the 50 million euros. Another 10 million in cash and € 4 million in stock to go directly to the founders Radian6. However, the value of these shares have risen more than a dollar in trade compounds help counter the decline of 3.5% who had experienced this year. 276 million will go directly to the purchase of the company (with 50 million shares). In general, Salesforce will fall in the area of $ 340 million in cash and stock to Radian6 position on board.

Several Wall Street analysts finally began to understand the importance of Monday's report, Jim Dalrymple loop there is no new hardware has introduced Apple (AAPL) Worldwide Developers Conference in June

Therefore, the current price reflects an Apple iPhone expected to launch in late June. Apple is known for tight-lipped about product launches until shortly before they occur. Therefore, means that the market and analysts believe it will continue its normal schedule launch (annual refresher courses). I do not agree with most posters here.

It's the same here. This is not because he had a statement from June to previous models, does not mean that there will be a declaration in June of this model. "Delay" The launch of the iPhone to 5 'just for fun around the current wave of tabloid journalism. No release date = no delay. Not far from the "Steve Jobs has six weeks to live 'headline PED skewered in this blog. catch eyes with a title, it says in the text that the title could be part of a piece of only "some" of truth behind it. Apple did not mention the iPhone 5 (or whatever his name), so it is a "delay."

In terms of financial performance makes no difference in results if iPhone 5 (or whatever the next generation iPhone is called) is released in time for the first week of September quarter (from late June) or released in time for the final weeks of the September quarter (ending in late September).

More important than the release date is the ability to produce and transport units for sale. Controversy or debate over whether or not the next-generation iPhone is released in late June (or as expected), or in the month of September is really much ado about nothing. Apple reports on a quarterly basis, not once a month and after the official release date is the issue of product delivery.

Before drainage channels overall performance of Apple's iPhone 3G in the second half of June quarter, in preparation for the launch of the iPhone in April, unit shipments were running about 90% compared with the previous year. The fact is that the release date of late June and the lack of supply of 4s iPhone upon release negatively affected the performance of the year June quarter in Apple ended September iPhone sales have increased an average of 91% year after year. The issue of an iPhone update in late September instead of June does not necessarily produce the best quarterly results. However, sales of the iPhone in the June quarter grew only 61% due to switching to the iPhone 3G iPhone 4.

All Dalrymple said, and confirmed that the WWDC was not ready to declare hardware. And BMO charge iPod in June would be contrary to the established practice of using "Back to School" promotion "throughout the summer to help move IPDS refresh.Siegler old Mac and first is on thin ice with the sources as well. Dalrymple has never said that no iPhone this summer 5.

This chip is worth waiting a few months. I like to think that the delay was for good reason. For example, the availability of a new Qualcomm chip can handle LTE, CDMA and GSM, without taking too much power or too little. I know I prefer the iPhone with this chip in the month of September without June

For example, Keith Bachman of BMO, "We believe that the next iPhone (5) will be due at the end of September quarter." Former DEP: What is worth, MG Siegler seemed very safe – and analysts as well – that the iPhone has been postponed for the fifth quarter in September. We believe that Apple updates the iPod and the iPhone during the June quarter in the district in September. "."

Third, even if true, so what? Those who believe in the second quarter will be nothing humungous Apple is a fruit cake or have an ulterior motive. Those who bought an iPhone will be four new iPhone 6. There will be a great phone in June, July and August. IPAD 2 Production starts up in earnest. 4 The iPhone is very convenient as I can barely keep up with demand as it is. The lucky sods who have not been able to buy an iPhone in the first place because his new plans will be blocked. It's a great phone today. One day there will be a better iPhone.

We've covered go a couple of times in recent years. We can say now is wrong. At that time, Foursquare starting rumors, but far from clear who the winner would be in space. More recently, AOL has become a new style of check-in service focus on events (as odd as that today, Facebook has provided an updated application that does the same base).
