The Wall Street Journal reports today that Google is about to conclude an agreement on an investigation into "criminal allegations the U.S. has made hundreds of millions of dollars by accepting ads for online pharmacies that violate state laws USA ". The story is titled "Google Deal by Drug Enforcement." The title and a sentence containing only the words "criminal investigation", "drug", "enterprise" and "crack." This is not exactly the flavor of the verbiage you want to associate with your business. But despite the revelation yesterday that the bad news was planted in reality, now the bad news is yet to come.

Details on the new tablet is rare and is likely to be available at Computex, but contains information PocketLint: Android 3.0, dual-core processor, front and rear-facing cameras, support for mobile broadband, HSPA +, HDMI and weighs 380 grams, which makes the device easy to carry. HTC said the honeycomb is available as a future update. So far, Google has made some inroads into social networks, and "Buzz", which could not generate buzz at all. The documents we received emails, briefing documents and powerpoint presentations are heavily redacted and still fail to provide any specific detailsincluding technical details on the purported surveillance problems the government claims require expanding the law. Earlier this month the FBI, DEA and the Department of Justice Criminal Division responded to our FOIA litigation for records related to the Department of Justices controversial efforts to push Congress to expand the Communications Assistance to Law Enforcement Act (CALEA).1 Although the agencies stated in their court filings (here, here, and here) that they had thousands of pages of records, so far they have only turned over a few hundred pages (and the DOJ Criminal Division has yet to give us any documents).
